Monmouth Junction and South Brunswick Township have been fortunate to have volunteer firefighters since 1924. We would like to continue with this tradition and keep the fire tax rate among the lowest in the state. In order for us to accomplish this, we need the help of our community.

Firefighting is unlike any other job and is not for everyone. However, if you feel you posses that "special" skill or would like to give it a try, we would like to hear from you!
 

 

 

 

   

 
Must be between the age of 18 and 45.
Must pass both a routine and criminal background check.
Must live or work within South Brunswick Fire District #2.
Must have a valid New Jersey Drivers License.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must pass a medical physical performed by the department’s physician.
Must be able to devote the time necessary to meet all the requirements of the job.
