Just before 5:30 AM on April 16, 2011, the MJFD was dispatched to Route 535 near Stults Road for a motor vehicle accident with extrication. Firefighters arrived to find an Audi passenger vehicle which had collided with a gasoline tanker, heavily entrapping the driver of the Audi. The victim was extricated with serious injuries and transported to the hospital via medivac helicopter.

The MJFD was dispatched to 32 Haypress Road around 4:15 am on March 8, 2011 for a structure fire. Firefighters attempted an interior attack but were forced to exit due to extremely heavy fire conditions in the rear of the ranch-style house. More than 35 firefighters responded from Monmouth Junction, Kendall Park, Kingston & No. Brunswick #2. One resident received serious injuries. All units cleared around 9:30 AM.
