Monday Aug. 30th 2010 - Vehicle Fire
On Monday August 30, 2010 at around 1:30 PM, the MJFD was dispatched to Bard Drive North in the South Ridge Hills complex off Route 522 for a vehicle fire. Firefighters from Engine 208 stretched an 1-3/4” hoseline to extinguish a fully involved Honda Civic. (Pictures to come)
Saturday Aug. 28th 2010 - Mutal Aid (Kendall Park)
The MJFD was dispatched to a structure fire at 12 Woodbine Road on Saturday August 28, 2010 to assist the Kendall Park Fire Company. Under the command of Kendall Park Assistant Chief Eric Murniecks, firefighters from Engine 221 contained the fire to a second floor bathroom. MJFD Engine 206 responded to the scene, with Tower 201 cancelled en route. Kingston Engine 244 & Rescue 242 responded as the FAST Team.
Wednesday Aug. 25th 2010 - MVC Extrication
Just before 4PM on Wednesday August 25, 2010, the MJFD was dispatched to the intersection of Cranbury-South River Road & Deans Rhode Hall Road for a motor vehicle accident with extrication needed. Upon arrival, firefighters found a two vehicle MVA with one vehicle off the roadway and the driver trapped. Firefighters utilized the “Jaws of Life” to remove the driver’s door to free the victim.
